SurroundIQ provides software-as-a-service (SaaS) neighborhood intelligence infrastructure, embeddable interactive property widgets, and spatial analytics to real estate agencies, brokerages, portals, and property developers.
This Privacy Policy details how we collect, store, process, and safeguard information when you use our website, web application dashboard, developer APIs, or embeddable JavaScript SDK across authorized customer domains.
2. Information We Collect
A. Account & Billing Information
When an organization or user registers for SurroundIQ, we collect registration details including account owner name, corporate email address, encrypted authentication hashes, company name, billing address, and verified domains. Payment processing is handled by compliant third-party payment gateways; SurroundIQ does not store raw credit card numbers.
B. Real Estate Property Listing Data
Customers provide or configure property URLs for neighborhood analysis. We retrieve public metadata including listing title, physical address, geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude), and listing primary imagery to generate localized points of interest (POIs), walkability metrics, and transit calculations.
C. Widget End-User Telemetry
When end consumers interact with the SurroundIQ widget on customer websites, we collect anonymous aggregate metrics such as widget impression events, tab interactions (e.g. healthcare, transit, dining), device categories (desktop, tablet, mobile), and referrer domains. We do not track or sell individual consumer identities across third-party websites.
D. Lead Generation Information (When Enabled)
If a customer activates the optional lead inquiry module on their widget, end consumers may voluntarily submit their name and contact information (e.g., WhatsApp number or email) to request property details. This data is stored strictly in the authenticated customer’s isolated workspace for their own lead response.
3. How We Use Information
- To synthesize, cache, and serve neighborhood spatial intelligence, commute times, and environmental indicators for property listings.
- To provide the administrative dashboard, domain verification, and widget customization features.
- To bill customers according to active property allowances and subscription tiers.
- To safeguard the integrity of our platform against fraudulent access, abuse, and denial-of-service attempts.
- To generate anonymous, aggregated benchmarks regarding amenity popularity for platform performance improvements.
4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share necessary data only with certified infrastructure providers essential for operating our platform:
Spatial Data & Maps
OpenStreetMap (OSM) APIs, Overpass spatial engines, and GIS tile providers for public amenity data.
Hosting & Caching
Global CDN edge caching nodes and encrypted cloud database clusters with continuous backups.

SurroundIQ utilizes industry-standard cryptographic protocols including TLS 1.3 in transit and AES-256 at rest. Each workspace maintains strict tenant isolation, ensuring property configurations, leads, and API tokens remain protected against cross-tenant exposure.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you maintain rights to access, rectify, export, or permanently delete personal information held within SurroundIQ. Account holders can request data export or workspace termination directly from their settings or by contacting our Data Protection Officer.
